Thanks to their contour-cut shape, you can see exactly where you're stamping. Each design is crafted with great care because we know: quality makes all the difference. The larger the stamp, the more detailed and impressive your embossing will be. The ultra-fine designs, in particular, benefit from the larger size. Our stamps are not only exceptionally beautiful but also practical. Unlike 3D-printed plastic stamps and stamps from India, they are deeply milled and feature beveled edges, allowing them to be easily removed from clay. The result? Embossing that appears truly three-dimensional and vibrant – simply stunning! Made from solid hardwoods such as cherry, beech, or oak, our stamps come from sustainable European forestry and are manufactured directly in Germany. All stamps are shipped freshly oiled. After the oil has been absorbed, they will become paler, and you can re-oil them with linseed or tung oil. If necessary, clean them with warm water and let them dry slowly. Afterward, they should be treated again with linseed or tung oil. This way, they will last for generations. Very clear results on clay are achieved when the clay is a little drier and no longer smears. Then, gently and evenly tap the stamp into the clay with a rubber mallet. With a little practice, you can achieve perfect impressions on slabs. Of course, many other methods work as well, such as filling a light sock (or similar) with cornstarch and lightly dusting the surfaces to be stamped. This makes it easy to use the stamp even on very fresh clay. It also works on polymer clay for jewelry making.
